Halloween

Halloween was a lot of fun this year. Shane was off from the fire station so he was able to go trick or treating with us. It's always better when he's with us!
A couple nights before Halloween we went to a carnival at Nonnie's school. The kids enjoyed it and they got to wear their costumes. Hadley was Doc McStuffins and Brooks was supposed to be yoda, but he wouldn't keep that costume on so I put him in something he couldn't take off... a pumpkin.

This was us on our way to go Trick or Treating. I had one excited girl!

 Yoda!
 Of course...

Hadley's Fall Ballet Sneak Peek

This year we enrolled Hadley in ballet and she's loving it. The parent's aren't able to watch them practice due to our ballet studios policy, but every now and then they'll invite the parent's in for a mini show. Last month we were able to see her first little show and holy moly, she's the cutest little tiny dancer I've ever seen in my entire life. Seriously. I couldn't be more proud of her. It's impossible. Now, did she get every move right? No. Did she have all the timing down? No. Did she try really hard while giving us a big smile and a thumbs up? Oh yes she did. I couldn't have asked for more.
