Thank God for technology! Because of it Hadley gets to talk to her dada on the nights that he's at the station! We love calling and talking to him! When Shane's face pops up on FaceTime Hadley just lights up. The biggest smile comes on her face! I took a few screenshots to show how happy she gets...

My kitchen helper...
Hadley loves to come in the kitchen with us while we cook. To keep her busy I gave her the all-important job of holding up the refrigerator! She did a fabulous job! Way to go, honey! : )
Tastes fine, she says!
Dada, get in the picture! Love these two!

Mommy and Haddie
I ran across a couple pictures of me and my girl on my phone. She's my little buddy! This first picture is us at a restaurant in Garland called Babe's. It was pretty delish!
This next picture is from Top Golf. We went there with the guys from Shane's shift. It was getting late and Hadley got tired. I love when she snuggles up to me and goes to sleep!
I love my sweet girl!

Hadley, scrunch your face!
Hadley has been getting such a little personality the past few months. She's such a goof ball! She likes to scrunch up her face and smile and occasionally will copy me when I do it. In this video you can't see me but I am scrunching up my face and she's mimicking me. My little mini-me!
Little booty
Every night Hadley gets a bath. I know, it's a little much and we'll see if baby #2 gets the same luxury, but I really like her to have a bedtime routine. Lately, she loves to stand at the bathtub and watch the water run. She'll even pick up her foot like she's trying to crawl over. Honestly, I just think it's the cutest thing!
Occasionally, she'll have a little accident while waiting to get in the tub. That's what just happened here. Most of the time if she has an accident it's teetee which is easy to clean and, let's face it, once you're a mom it really doesn't gross you out. This particular night that this picture was taken I started running the water and left to go get Hadley's towel. I came back to find a little surprise in between her cheeks! It makes me giggle just thinking about it! I love having all these stories to hang over her head someday! : )
Weaning
Since I'm returning to school we've began the weaning process. Hadley really resisted the bottle for a good two weeks or so, but we're finally having a breakthrough and she's taking the bottle! It was hard to be away from her not knowing if she was eating all that she needed, but now that she will take a bottle easier I can rest a little easier!
Last days of summer...
I had a lot of fun with my girl on my last days of summer. We played, went out to lunch, swam and read lots of books! She is such a light in my life and I feel so blessed to be her mom. Now that I'm back at school I really miss seeing her during the day, but her sweet smile is always there to welcome me when I get home!
