Trip to Abilene for Aubs and Eli's B-day

 A few weeks ago we received this letter in the mail. It was an invitation to Aubrey and Eli's birthday party in Abilene. Shane was able to switch someone shifts so he had 5 days off and was able to join us. I love spending time with family so I was really looking forward to our trip!

On the first night we were there Erin and I made tutu's for Aubrey and Hadley to wear to the party. I couldn't wait for the party to try it on Hadley; I put it on her first thing the next morning. She cracked me up because she wouldn't touch it at first. She just held her arms up and looked a little unsure. She got used to it, though!

 She's such a cutie!

 She really liked it after a little while!

We went to church with Nonnie and Tank on Sunday morning. She seems to like going to church. She's silent during the songs, but when the preacher starts talking so does she. 

 For her birthday Aubrey got a costume to dress up like the character from the movie brave. We had to try the wig on Haddie to get a glimpse into the future!

We took a dip with Lolli in her pool. She loves the water!

 

When we got her out we gave her a bath in a bucket! 

 Such a sweet girl!

 We had a great time visiting family and celebrating Aubrey and Eli's birthday!
