This month you have made me laugh, challenged me, kept me on my toes and filled my heart to the point of overflowing with love. Your facial expressions, the things you say... they have me laughing constantly. The other day you were being funny and I was laughing and you said, "I cwackin you up!" Yes, baby, you are!
We're on day 3 of potty training, and it's still about 50/50 on whether or not you'll go in the potty. If I get you to sit on the potty then you're pretty good about going, but if I forget and go too long in between potty breaks you'll wet your pants. I have to say, potty training is not my favorite part of parenting. But, if I have to potty train someone I'm glad it's you!
Yesterday (Wednesday) you and daddy went to get me a mothers day gift. Mothers day is Sunday so y'all are on the ball! ;) You came back and proudly announced that you got me some special presents. (Melt my heart!!!) Then you looked at daddy and said, "Where my Daniel Tiger book? Dada! Where my Daniel Tiger book?" To which daddy tried to suppress a smile and said, "That's supposed to be for mommy on Sunday." Happy mother's day to me! : ) And, sweetie, I love your thoughtful gift. Mommy loves reading to you and you love Daniel Tiger. It's a win-win!
