Bath Time Splashing

 Normally when I bathe Brooks I have him lay back in our little pink bath recliner. He's gotten pretty good at sitting up so the other night I decided to let him sit up in the tub with Haddie. Holy moly, I haven't laughed this hard in a while! And they haven't either. They had the BEST time together. Hadley loved having a little friend and Brooks loved the new view of the tub! And.the.SPLASHING! They both laughed and laughed while splashing around in the water. Brooks could care less that water was getting in his eyes; he was having a blast! It was so fun to watch! Brooks adores his big sister! Nobody makes him laugh like she can. It's honestly contagious. When she starts laughing he laughs. Same with crying, but that's for a different post. Reading Buddies

 Most of the time when I put Brooks in Hadley's bed she freaks out a little. It's HER bed. But a few mornings ago she was enjoying his company and even decided to read him a book...

 When I got the kids out of bed I started to change Hadley out of her PJs. I got half way done when she ran away from me. I asked her what she was doing and she said, "I a supa hewo! Dis is my cape!" Someone's been hanging around cousin Eli too much!

Latest Fire Station Visit

 One of my favorite things about Shane being a firefighter is that our kids will grow up visiting him at the station!

Trip to the Zoo

 I'm pretty sure that Hadley has a best friend. Her first best friend. Meet Charlee. Charlee's mom is a good friend of mine and since we like to get together to have a little adult interaction our girls get lots of interaction, too. Honestly they play so well together, and y'all, they're both two so finding someone to play well with doesn't happen often. They both look forward to seeing each other and when we leave somewhere that Charlee was just at Hadley will often times say, "I wan Chawee." It does my heart good to see these two sweet girls together!
