Sea World Family Trip

My parents gifted us with a trip to Sea World this year as a Christmas gift. We just got back and it was a lot of fun! It's always good to get away from home for a little bit with family. Hadley's at such a fun age so it was a lot of fun seeing this trip through her eyes!

On the way to San Antonio we had to stop a couple times. Once was for me to nurse Brooks. While I was nursing B, daddy and Hadley picked me wildflowers.

This is in Fredericksburg. We stopped and had lunch and let Brooks take a nap.

This is our first night at the hotel. The kids made smores in the hotel's fire pit.

Pure Joy

I literally cannot even describe to you the joy it gives me to be these two's mom. And when they play and have fun together... my heart bursts. Sure, I get really stressed out sometimes with these guys. Things never seem to get done and there's never enough time and disciplining is a chore, but they are worth it. All of it.

Flying a Kite

So we had this grand idea of flying a kite with Hadley. That sounds fun, right? Well either...

A) We don't know how to fly a kite

B) We went too cheap on a kite

C) There wasn't enough wind

It didn't go as well as it did in my head. Hadley didn't care, though. She just had fun running around with her daddy dragging the kite behind her!

Scavenger Hunt

Some of my favorite family times are impromptu. We were not planning on having a family scavenger hunt today, but Hadley was watching Cailou and we saw them having one so we decided to make one of our own. Hadley helped me think of all the things we could look for outside.
