Ok, I'm officially "that mom". The mom that documents EVERYTHING. That includes the first time your baby sits in the shopping cart. But, come on, look how cute!!!!!!

Nap time troubles...

I snapped this picture one afternoon when I was trying to put Hadley down for a nap. I just found it again on my phone and it still makes me giggle so I thought I'd share.

Backyard Photo Shoot

 Hadley has been pulling up and trying to stand on her own so much lately and I wanted to capture her doing it by having a backyard photo shoot. I had visions of her being smiley and looking at the camera, but when I set her down in the grass I realized that probably wouldn't be the case. I guess I didn't realize that this was her first time to stand and sit in grass. All the other times have been on a blanket. She wouldn't stand straight up; she leaned over and kept looking down at her feet. She would shift her weight from one foot to another trying to get accustom to how the grass felt. Then when she finally sat down in the grass she did not want to touch it. She kept her hands by her chest to make sure that didn't happen. I got some pretty cute shots and edited some of my favorites.

 Maybe next time we take pictures in the grass she will be a little more accustom to how it feels and I'll get a few more of these sweet smiles!

Lolli and Pop's Visit

 A couple weekends ago we got a visit from Lolli and Pops. Here are some of the pictures that I took of Hadley playing on the floor with her Lolli!

Hadley's Toys

We keep a bin of Hadley's toys in the living room and she just loves getting in it and getting out all her tiny treasures. She likes to tip it over and let everything spill out, then she'll go through the contents and play with her favorites. She's so sweet when she's playing. I love to see her play; you can just see her wheels turning. One evening I was cleaning the kitchen and looked over to check on Hadley and noticed she was playing so sweetly by herself. I ran to grab my camera and snapped these shots.
