Hadley 31 Months

Hadley Faye- You are officially potty trained!! YOU GO GIRL! I am so proud of you! This month we really buckled down and you did it! You still sleep in your diaper, but as soon as I figure out how to tell you that you can't sleep with your water bottle we'll tackle that nighttime diaper. I really am so proud of you, babe! The other day I was at the eye doctor and daddy sent me a picture of you smiling so big and proud by your poo poo in the potty. I just about teared up! Partly because I am proud of you, partly because I am relieved that your diaper days are over and partly because your diaper days are over. You're getting so big and there's nothing I can do about it but hold your hand along the way.
I love you so much babe and can't say enough how proud I am of you! You amaze me!
Love always,
Mama

You are giving me a run for my money these days with our pictures. This next series of pictures is a great example...
Me: Hadley, smile!!!
You: ....
You: LIKE THIS!?!?
Me: A little less...
 Me: A tad more...
Me: That'll work. : )

Brooks 10 months

Little Man,
Another month has past and you are now 10 months old. The days just go by faster and faster. The other day I was in a store and an elderly woman stopped to admire you and your sister. She told me how lucky I was and to cherish these days. I can tell you one thing- I do cherish these days. These fleeting, blissful day... I am cherishing them.
You are still getting around by crawling, but goodness you are fast. When you get to tile or concrete you'll pick up your knees and bear crawl. It always cracks me up. You love pushing your walker toys and getting around that way, too. It's not going to be too many more months before you aren't going to need your walker toys to walk. You've been standing some on your own lately, which tells me you're trying out this whole balance thing.
You still have the most precious gummy smile I've ever seen! Truly! Not a one tooth. Not even a tiny part of a tooth poking out. It's all gum in your mouth!
You've got this contagious giggle and oh-my-word it comes out when we rough house with you! You love being thrown around and wrestling! And I LOVE that you are so ticklish! Those laughs really come out when we start tickling you!
I want you to know how grateful I am for you. You are one of my greatest blessing and I love you so much sweetie!!
Always,
Mama
