Turning Two

Stop it, Hadley. No, you cannot turn two. That would just mean you're growing up. It's so bittersweet.
Tomorrow, this sweet goof-ball turns two. Tears will be shed by me and fun will be had by all. For now, I'm going to go crawl in her crib and cuddle my one year old.

It's Hadley's...

I don't know if it's because she's turning two or because we brought home Brooks, but for whatever reason the past couple months Hadley has learned how to be possessive. "It's Hadley's!" A phrase that is heard about 1 million times a day at our house. Phew.
Not only is Hadley's stuff Hadley's, but Brooks stuff is Hadley's...

Actually mommy's stuff is Hadley's and daddy's stuff is Hadley's... according to Hadley. Needless to say, we are in the midst of working on sharing. Wish us luck! Hopefully she'll have it figured out by the time she drives.

I'm up to my eyeballs in diapers...

This is my diaper changing station...
Have you ever felt like you were in heaven and hell at the same time? Haha! I'm kidding. 100%. I love my job. Staying home and changing diapers, kissing boo boo's, rocking babies... it is my favorite. I wouldn't have it any other way.

Park Fun

We are loving the weather lately. It's been beautiful outside. Hadley would live outside if I let her, so we try to spend as much time outdoors as possible. These pictures are from one of our park trips.

Afterwards we went to get some pizza and I snapped this picture of Shane and our babies. I'm so lucky to have married such an amazing man!

Brooks: Newborn Pictures

Aunt E outdid herself and took some beautiful pictures of my little man! I love them so much! Babies grow so fast; I feel like I blinked and he's already 15 lbs! (Yes, 15 lb 6 oz at his 2 month doctors appointment!! 99th percentile! That's my boy! :)) I will cherish these pictures forever!

Side note: Sister was still getting used to baby brother and wanted nothing to do with him during this shoot. We were cracking up. We would try and bribe her, but nothing would make her touch him. We were lucky to get the two kissing shots! Luckily, she seems to have changed her mind about him and is pretty fond of him now!

Here's a couple pictures Erin got of Hadley...

Siblings

Siblings share a bond unlike any. I can't tell you how glad I am that my kids have each other. And even though it's tough at times I am glad that they are so close in age.
You'll notice that in a lot of these pictures they are holding hands. That was all Hadley. As soon as I tell her that I want to take her and brothers picture she grabs his hand and says, "hands!" or "friends!" It's really cute. I hope they really do become great friends.

And what mom can resist a good bathtub picture??
