Daddy Daughter Dance

I wasn't sure that the daddy/daughter dance was going to happen since it was so close to our due date, but I'm so glad it did! Shane and Hadley both had a wonderful time meeting princesses and dancing the evening away. They even ended the evening with pizza! (A Hadley favorite!) I love the relationship that Hadley has with her daddy. It's pretty priceless.
Now a note to Hadley:
My sweet Hadley,
While at the dance your daddy said that you danced like nobody was watching. He said you ran and jumped and laughed and had the best time. When friends would encourage you to join them in dancing you would join them for a minute of two before you couldn't contain your dancing and would have to run off to do your own thing.
My hope for you is that you always dance like nobody's watching. I hope that you always have the independent, joyful spirit that you have now. When other girls want to confine you to their bubble, I hope you burst out of it and remain true to yourself.
I love you with all my heart and so does your daddy. We're so proud that you are ours!
Love Always,
Mommy

Iphone Rewind

The milk I bought had our due date on it... getting closer!!
Ever had foil in your hair while you were timing contractions??
Sometimes you just say yes to the princess dress.
Big sister took a sibling tour of the hospital.

"Look, I'm Pops!" (This is after Pops had neck surgery and had to wear a similar neck brace.)
Oh boy! Hold still so I can send a picture to your daddy! ;)

Cold days, again...
Longest winter ever...
At least we finally got some snow!

One of those days...

Princess Mermaid Hadley

Sledding with daddy! Mommy doesn't enjoy the cold so much so being pregnant was a great excuse to stay at the bottom of the hill!
